Dr Yeh Chen Lee is a medical oncologist based at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre. She is committed to improving patient care in gynaecological cancers through advancing and translating knowledge in cancer genetics, prevention and treatment.
After receiving her medical degree from the University of Melbourne, Dr Lee completed her subspecialty training in medical oncology and pursued a year of clinical fellowship in high risk breast cancer treatment and genetics at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She then embarked on the drug-development program-gynaecology Fellowship at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (Toronto, Canada) focusing on gynaecological cancers and early phase translational trials.
Dr Lee’s recent research accomplishments included the Conquer Cancer Foundation of ASCO Merit Award, CAHON Young Investigator Award and the Tannock Fellowship Award. She has presented her research work at national and international scientific meetings. Furthermore, Dr Lee’s malignant bowel obstruction project was awarded the 2018 Quality Award by the Cancer Quality Council of Ontario in recognition of the significant impact on patient experience and the sustainable systemic changes across the cancer program.
