Pooja consults as part of the multi-disciplinary head and neck cancer team at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.
She completed her Clinical Doctorate in Prosthodontics at the University of Sydney in 2012. Since then she has been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research and supervision, particularly to junior registrar and dental officer staff. In her clinical role she treats patients with complex medical, dental and psychological needs and provides treatments such as management of worn dentition, implant therapy and oro-facial pain management. Within the field of prosthodontics, Pooja has a special interest in maxillofacial rehabilitation of head and neck oncology patients.
Pooja has been part of emerging leaders team at Westmead Hospital and was recently invited to participate in workshop for Young Maxillofacial Prosthetic Educators in Tokyo. She is an active member of the Academy of Australian and New Zealand Prosthodontists and the Australian Dental Association.
