Kate has been a registered nurse since 2009 and has worked across a variety of fields in both medical and surgical oncology. She has worked at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse since its opening in 2013 where she became the team leader for the day therapy unit before transitioning to care coordination.
In her previous role, Kate looked after breast cancer patients throughout their surgical journey from screening and diagnosis to surgery and recovery. She is now in a similar role for lung cancer patients, helping them through their cancer journey.
