Ian Hammond brings considerable finance expertise to his role at Lifehouse, with more than 35 years experience in the accounting and finance profession.
Ian retired as a partner from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in March 2015. During his 26 years as a partner of PwC, Ian held a range of senior management positions including lead partner for several major financial institutions. He has previously been a member of the Australian Accounting Standards Board and represented Australia on the International Accounting Standards Board.
Ian has deep knowledge of the financial services’ industry and expertise in financial reporting and risk management. Ian is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant and a Graduate Member Institute of Company Directors.
Ian is a Non-Executive Director of Perpetual Limited, a listed company on the ASX. He is also a Board member of a number of not-for-profit organisations including St Andrews Cathedral School.
Ian joined the Lifehouse Board in 2015 and is the Chairman of the Finance Committee.
