Doug Snedden was appointed to Chris O’Brien Lifehouse board as Chairman in February 2014.
He retired from his role as Country Managing Director of Accenture in Australia in mid-2008, though he remains Chairman of the Accenture Australia Foundation.
Doug has had extensive experience as both board member and chairman, with roles on the boards of companies as well as arts, medical and community not-for-profit organisations. In addition to his chairmanships of both the Lifehouse board and the Accenture Australia Foundation, Doug currently sits on the boards of Transfield Services, UXC Limited, Hillgrover Resources Limited, Sirca Technology, The Black Dog Institute and is the Chairman of Odyssey House McGrath Foundation.
Doug’s previous board positions include St. Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, The Sydney Theatre Company and the St James Ethics Centre. In 2012 Doug chaired the NSW Government Business Services Committee. Doug was an active member of the Business Council of Australia and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
