Conor completed undergraduate training in both medicine and dentistry in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He undertook basic surgical training in Dublin followed by five years higher surgical training in Maxillofacial Surgery in Liverpool UK. He then spent a year as an Interface Fellow in Head and Neck Cancer Surgery in Birmingham, UK before undertaking a further fellowship in Head and Neck Cancer at the SHNCI from July 2014 to July 2015. The Sydney fellowship allowed him to hone his surgical skills particularly in advanced reconstructive techniques. He credits his year in Sydney with bridging the gap between fellow and competent consultant Head and Neck Surgeon.
When not operating, Conor enjoyed the Aussie lifestyle, living in the beachside suburb of Tamarama and participating in triathlon and surfing. He has returned to Dublin where he works as a Consultant Maxillofacial/Head and Neck Cancer Surgeon.
