A/Prof Saxby is a Consultant ENT Surgeon and Specialist Otologist treating both adults and children. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at Sydney University and Head of Department for Otolaryngology at the Northern Beaches Hospital.
A/Prof Saxby graduated from Cambridge University Medical School, in the UK, where he gained first class honours. After moving to Australia in 2002 he completed his surgical training in New South Wales and became an ENT specialist in 2011. In 2012 he underwent further specialist training in advanced ear surgery at the prestigious Fisch Microsurgery Institute in Luzern, Switzerland and spent time at the Specialist Otology Hospital in Beziers, France before completing a Neurotology & Otology Fellowship in Vancouver, Canada at the BC Children’s Hospital and St Paul’s Hospital.
