Kyle Robert Zandona | Chris O'Brien Lifehouse

Kyle Robert Zandona was born in Griffith NSW on 27th October 1991 , and sadly passed away on Christmas Day 25th December 2016 at the age of 25.

He was a young man who was selfless, brave and had a heart of gold, words simply do not do him justice. His friends ranged from the age of two to 90, he was a person who cared for everyone else but himself.

He showed a deep passion for farming, old music, vintage cars, aeroplanes and trains, he had always said he was born in the wrong era.

On the 16th of December 2009 Kyle’s life got turned upside down, being diagnosed with a Sarcoma. He battled it for a long seven years in and out of hospital, six operations and many rounds of chemo, one which nearly took his life in March 2010.

But Kyle being Kyle never let that stop him from doing things that he wanted to do. He was one of the youngest men to ever join rotary in Australia, his reason was “I’ve been given a second chance of life”. He was nominated for Young Australian of the Year, but turned it down because others deserve it more. He had the time of his life when he finally decided it was time to jump in a big American RV and travel across America, not once but twice.

Kyle was one of those people who had an infectious smile, his life may have been cut short but his spirit will live on in those who love him.
