Remembering Dr Robert Haski | Chris O'Brien Lifehouse
 In Lifehouse News

Chris O’Brien Lifehouse was saddened by the sudden passing of Dr Robert Haski, a member of the Partnership Advisory Council since 2016.

Rob had a distinguished career as a doctor and surgeon before moving into medical administration where he filled key roles in Australian and US pharmaceutical companies and universities, including Novartis, Eli Lilly and Company and RiskSafe International.

As a cancer survivor, Rob had a strong empathy for patients and a deep understanding of the need for compassion, dignity, and sensitivity.  He strove to bring about continuous improvement in cancer treatment through advocacy and measurement and he carried out this voluntary position with warmth, charm and a great sense of humour.

He had a vast knowledge and love of music and the piano was his favourite instrument. Both Rob and his wife Roberta were regular visitors to the Sydney Opera House and City Recital Hall.

Rob will be sadly missed by all of us who were privileged to work with him and our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Roberta, daughter Jackie and granddaughter Amelie.
