Notice for visitors and general public
As you will be aware, the State and Federal Governments have put new measures in place to ensure the safety of the community in this evolving health emergency.
To keep our patients, staff and their families safe, we are introducing new restrictions on visiting Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.
We will ask our patients to nominate one visitor only to come and see them or accompany them to appointments. We would encourage family and friends to use Facetime and Skype to connect with our patients.
We understand that this is not always appropriate so please call 02 8514 4111 to discuss your individual situation. Visitors should check in with the COVID Concierge on the ground floor between the hours of 7am and 7pm for screening before entering the building. Outside these hours, ring the doorbell to be let in.
All appointments with your doctor will be conducted via Telehealth and we are delaying surgery if safe to a later date.
Thank you again for your understanding during these extraordinary times.
If you are concerned about your health call your GP or Health Direct on 1800 022 222 for further advice.
