Celebrating five years of changing the face of cancer

On Monday 5 November we opened our doors to the public in celebration of our fifth birthday. It was a fabulous day of performances, tours, panel discussions, a Christmas market and even free treatments from the Lifehouse LivingRoom.

It was a fun-filled day to thank everyone that has been a part of our journey over the past five years. Open House was the perfect opportunity to welcome our community back through our doors and invite new people in to learn more about us, our people, our services, our research and our achievements. We were also able to invite many of our partners to hold stalls, highlighting how diverse and unique our sponsors and supporters are.

The cross-campus open day was held in partnership with Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, giving people a rare chance to learn more about the strong history and connection between our two organisations.

We would like to thank everyone who who took part for helping to make it such a fun and special day for everyone!

We are grateful for the support of our sponsors for this important milestone. We would not be here without them. Thank you Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Varian, Konica Minolta, Meditech, Optus, Oneview and Rauland.
