Our theatre complex has expanded, and we are now looking to add to our clinical leadership team with the appointment of a Team Leader OA services. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and have an interest to lead a team of staff to support the complex operative workload of our 10- theatre complex. This position will represent the OA’s at theatre management and service planning meetings.
We value all our staff as key to our success and reporting directly to the Peri-operative Services Manager, you will be involved in the further development of the current OA team members and recruitment to deliver a patient centered and collaborative approach to getting things done.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced senior OA to take a step into leadership, with support available for further career development for the right candidate.
- Previous experience in an acute peri-operative environment
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity
- Sound knowledge of operating room equipement and safety practices
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and can -do attitude
- Experience in roster and leave management
- Capacity to support staff development
