Judith will then delve into the safety of taking herbs and supplements in the context of rapidly developing space of new cancer therapies. She will discuss frequently asked questions and some of the more commons herbs and supplements people take.

Whiter Tang is a cancer care pharmacist who has been at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse since the very beginning of the hospital opening. She has over 10 years’ experience in cancer pharmacy including experience on the wards, day therapy and clinical trials and is currently the Deputy Director of Pharmacy. She is a board-certified oncology pharmacist and is also a part-time tutor and casual lecturer at the University of Sydney. Whiter is proud to be working at Lifehouse and loves her work being able to help patients on a daily basis.
A/Prof Judith Lacey is the Head of Supportive Care and Integrative Oncology at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. She specialises in the development and integration of supportive care interventions to keep people living well with cancer independent of prognosis or stage of disease. Dr Lacey is a member of the leadership group of the Society of Integrative Oncology and the National Chair of the Integrative Oncology Group, COSA.
