Arterie at Lifehouse is planning all sorts of festive events to take us through to Christmas.

Join in and unleash your creative side or just take a moment to have a cup of tea. Everyone is welcome!

  • The Quilting Bee
    28 November – Lifehouse Foyer
We’re very lucky to have the experts from Quilt NSW who have come to show us what to do to finish the Blue Hexagon Hope wall hanging. We have had over 17,000 blue hexagons stitched for us by patients, carers, staff and friends from near and far. Quilt NSW received a $3,000 grant to have this huge collaborative piece box-framed once it’s finished. Massive thanks to everyone who contributed and Quilt NSW.
  • Markarterie Christmas Market
From 3 – 12 December on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – Lifehouse foyer
The Arterie Markarterie will be back with a beautiful array of hand crafted goods and lovely gifts so make sure you stop by. Your purchase goes to the continuation of the Arterie art engagement program at Lifehouse, providing companionship, community, relief from stress and feelings of isolation and good conversation to our patients.
  • Workshop
    10.30 – 3.30, 4 December – Lower Ground Floor
Join this Embroidery Masterclass with Margaret Gollan and indulge in some mindful stitching while creating something of beauty.
  • Open Studio Christmas Lunch and The Polly’s Puppet Parade
    10.30-3.30 , 11 December – Lower Ground Floor
Come and celebrate the festive season and enjoy the wonder of the Polly’s Puppet Parade. Artist in Residence Aleisa Jelbart and Dr Disco will lead puppets made by the Lifehouse community in this funky dance to show off their craft.

All are welcome, please bring a plate of food

Arterie will be taking a well-earned break for the month of January and Open Studio returns on Wednesday 5th February 2020.
